Looking at how our lives have grown

The different colors, shades and tones

Reflect upon the seeds we have sown

Have we stumbled upon one too many stones

Have we followed where the wind has blown

And in return get shivers to the bones

Are we willing to venture into the unknown

By stepping out of those comfort zones

Destiny lies within heart and soul of our own

When darkness comes to haunt

The devil emerges to taunt

Presence just obnoxiously flaunt

Frailty of mortals begin to daunt

We live and learn from everybody

Regardless if one is three, ten for seventy

Doesn't really have to be somebody

Even a kid can teach you plenty

We seek to find the so called remedy

To find answers for the uncertainty

In the end there is just nobody

But in ourselves who will find clarity

Weddings

An occasion to bring friends closer

Catching up and keeping bonds tighter

Reminiscing moments that we all remember

With smiles and laughter that comes after

To the couples who brought us back together

A wonderful and blissful marriage forever

Setback after setback with each day

Like a downward fall going all the way

Ain't gonna back down ain't pulling away

Things will get better than okay

What is the meaning of simplicity

Holding hands and strolling was an elderly couple

Smiles and laughter are just so wonderful and simple

But lil things from just a simple touch

Can be worth much more than money

From those who appreciate you as such
