Darn...It's another Blue Monday
Morning started off in dismay
Things don't seem to go the right way
Everything else just don't feel okay

After a week of coffee intervene
Decided to get back on scene
May this hot dosage of caffeine
Brighten the weekends to the brim

Sometimes we may go off track
But eventually we'll return back
Move along and do a rain check
Look ahead.. Don't turn your neck

Regular radio broadcast
Another weather forecast
Time really moves too fast
What's meant to cherish and last
May all become lost and past

Sometimes switching off the phone
Leaving behind even a single stone
Feeling solitude just all alone
Just drowning in booze to atone

Red, blue, yellow, turquoise
What really affects one's choice
Is that a nearby familiar voice
Or perhaps the surrounding noise

Perhaps it's time to conclude
To still remain in solitude
Doors not meant to include
Invisible walls of fortitude

Coffee withdrawal syndrome
Can be really cumbersome
Its just like a gnome
Being enclosed in a dome
...Just can't wait to go home

For now...avoid coffee and tea
No food that's oily and spicy
But Ultimatum was...Be alcohol free
Gosh! Think I'll go really crazy

At the strike of three
Its time to set free
Every experience is a fee
For one to clearly see

Start of a new week
Another weekend we seek
Start the day with a coffee kick
The rest will have to let the clock tick

Though 2 days are kinda mere
But weekends are finally here
Cherish them so precious and dear
Cos before you know it Monday is near

Dinner after swimming last night
Halfway through my noodles delight
A little roach just caught my sight
Which totally spoilt my appetite
