A treasure trove of lost memories

This garden filled with seeds we once plow

Have bloomed into countless stories

Give a smile and take a bow

Cos the future is built with these melodies

Why do we hold on to memories

Even though they end up as tragedies

Start having all kinds of queries

While listening to those sad melodies

Even though we've been hit by a  lorry

But life's not supposed to be so crappy

Rather than feel depressed and sorry

Shouldn't we look ahead and be happy

Simplicity

We sometimes make choices out of conformity

Justify and rationalize based on relativity

Eventually facing setbacks with such negativity

And compromise with what defines normality

Life is short just explore the possibility

With a lil touch of gradual positivity

The world evolved into such complexity

When life is all about simplicity

How mankind evolved to this stage

With unconventional measures to gauge

Which never existed in the Stone Age

Discovery of time that we call age

Invention of paper that gives us wage

Building walls around us like a cage

Destruction of nature out of rage

In the depths of a quiet night

Pitch black was the only sight

A sudden gust of wind from the right

Seem to lift one's soul into flight

Shivers and chills one couldn't fight

Trembling fists unable to clench tight

Wishing as much as one might

To catch just a glimpse of light

Are we trapped in our own little bubble

Within comfort zone away from trouble

What's beyond could be unstoppable

Perhaps we could even find a double

Do we hold back from what's capable

And be contented with the probable

Taste, hearing, smell or sight

Which is wrong and which is right

A lit path in the depths of night

A dark alley in the day so bright

Who's to tell which decision is bright

Only fate and destiny will know one's plight

Each choice that we make

Whichever path that we take

Are we being real or just being fake

And the question is for whose sake

Everyday as we awake

Every single moment is at stake

To hold on or to cut loose

To follow the don'ts or dos

When given options to choose

Are we there to win or lose

Fear

Are we suppressed by our own fear

Protecting what we hold so dear

To a point where nothing can come near

And don't remember what is a tear

All that remains is our own voices we hear

And suddenly everything seems unclear

Take a deep breath and let the clutter clear

Free oneself from what we feel or hear

Even if it might bring out a tear

Don't let those emotions come near

Here and Now is what we should grasp dear

It's time to face and overcome our fear
