Stepped out into a familiar place
Vivid memories slammed right in the face
For a moment fell from grace
Losing sense of direction and pace

It's inevitable to sometimes retrace
As though it's a back and forth race
Hang on tight even if it's just a lace
Here and Now we should embrace

Cos everything will eventually fall in place

Frail and fatigued looking was he
Seated on a bench between those trees
He was at least twice the age of me
Bowed down arms resting on knees

Ignorant of the what's happening around
In his own world feeling safe and sound
Drifting away deep in thought
Reminiscing his life's battles fought

Then along came a feeble looking she
Steady steps makes her feel free
Approaching him as calm as can be
Her face seems to be beaming with glee

When their eyes met on common ground
A priceless treasure seems to be found
Wonderful memories cannot be bought
Cherish every moment that we sought
